Kanye West & Jay-Z – Otis

First single off the “Watch the Throne” album and it doesn’t disappoint. At least that’s the case for me. I know there has been a lot of talk on the blogosphere regarding whether or not a track which relies so heavily on the words/lyrics/beat from a previous track should be your leading single off of a new album. Me? I don’t care as long as I like the music – that’s all that matters to me.

Just FYI the artowrk for the track is by the creative director of Givenchy, Riccardo Tisci.

Pusha T featuring Tyler, the Creator – Trouble on My Mind

A lot of hype coming before this video dropped. Was it worthy of it? I’ll let you be the judge of that.

Pusha T has been around for a minute and this is much of the same from him. I’m still impressed with Tyler the Creator though, always brings something different to each of the projects he gets involved in. I’ve heard excellent things about the Big Smoke shows from a few weeks back, the Odd Future gang seem to have the world at their feet – let’s see if that continues.

Jay-Z & Kanye West “Watch The Throne” Documentary

Having waited a good number of months to get my hands on Jay-Z and the One Who Shall Not Be Named Kanye’s collab album, “Watch the Throne”, a nice little documentary comes out showing the creative process.

How things have changed for the East Coast duo. Instead of dingey little studios and hired female companions, they now have entire Sydney estates and Beyonce on hand.

Oh well, I wouldn’t complain.

The Cool Kids – Summer Jam (ft. Maxine Ashley & Pharrell Williams)

Not a bad little summer tune from The Cool Kids and co. Pharrell always seems to be around when the sun comes out, does he hibernate or something?

Still love Skateboard P’s work on Despicable Me – its soooo flllluuuffffyyyy! Anyway, getting sidetracked.

Tyler, the Creator – Summer Camp Mix

You’ve probably heard some of these tracks before and most likely wouldn’t pick up or download them seperately – but this is Tyler. Missed out seeing him and the Odd Future crew at Camden Crawl – something to do with £7.99 cases of Stella, can’t really remember.

Download with the downwards arrow.

The Weekend – The Morning

Frank Ocean – We All Try

Yelawolf – Daddy’s Lambo

Drake – Marvin’s Room

Sounds exactly the same as every other Drake slow-jam, but I’m sure the females will go crazy for it.

Jay Electronica ft. Diddy – The Ghost of Christopher Wallace

Jay Electronica has been around producing for ages, and only really now is he getting the attention he deserves.

Getting involved with Diddy and the whole B.I.G history, here’s the new drop, The Ghost of Christopher Wallace.
